Family Program

ONLINE FAMILY COUNSELING

Women participating in our programs (Intensive outpatient program, Outpatient, Mrs. Wilson's Halfway House, Tomlinson's 3/4 House) may access online Family Counseling Sessions. This services is very useful for women who have family members that may gain from counseling who live a distance from the agency.

FAMILY EDUCATION PROGRAM

Mrs Wilson's  provides family education and treatment services with a focus on understanding the clients’ symptoms and interaction patterns within their environment. Mrs. Wilson’s staff understands that Family treatment is a preferred method of treatment for depression, substance abuse, relationship problems, and couple enrichment.

Please join us at our weekend Family Education Program. Our program is open to families of women in our halfway house, transitional living, Intensive Outpatient, Outpatient, and the Morris County Community.

Our Family Sessions are also open to the general Morris County Community at no cost

Mrs. Wilson’s Family Educational Program

   

The Family Educational Program is scheduled monthly for three hours. All women are encouraged to have their family participate. Educational sessions will begin at 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and visits from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The objective of the program is to provide information, skills, and knowledge about addiction and recovery and to assist attendees with the application of this information into their lives.

 

Visitation is part of the program that requires attendance of the lecture. In order for attendees to visit they must attend the entire program. Women may have their children and four other visitors attend the program.

Couples Group

 

 

 
  • Second Sunday of each month
  • Group Facilitators: Jane and Laura
  • Time: 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
  • Visitation for Halfway House Women following the group: 11:00 to 12:00 PM

 

Audience: This group is open to the women of Mrs. Wilson’s Halfway House, Tomlinson House, Intensive Outpatient, and Outpatient Services

 

Treatment Goal: The goal of the Couples Group is to explore the strengths and challenges of the relationship and examine coping strategies to enhance the relationship and the recovery process.
